U.S. stocks traded higher toward the end of trading, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 50 points on Friday.
The Dow traded up 0.13% to 37,490.36 while the NASDAQ rose 0.25% to 14,546.77. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.26% to 4,701.05.

The Dow traded down 0.19% to 37,369.52 while the NASDAQ rose 0.16% to 14,533.16. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.12% to 4,694.09.

Following the market opening Friday, the Dow traded up 0.08% to 37,470.26 while the NASDAQ rose 0.20% to 14,539.40. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.21% to 4,698.40.
Shares of Dermata Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRMA) rose sharply in pre-market trading after the company announced the issuance of a new patent in Japan for its DMT410 program for the treatment of hyperhidrosis.
Dermata Therapeutics shares jumped 57.3% to $0.9601 in pre-market trading.
