Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc (NYSE: SPCE) shares are trading higher.

Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc (NYSE:SPCE) shares are trading higher. The company announced the flight window for its upcoming spaceflight Wednesday morning.

What Happened: Virgin Galactic confirmed that its Unity 25 mission is go for launch on May 25. The company said the mission specialists will begin astronaut training on May 22. 

The Unity’s 25th flight will act as the final assessment of the full spaceflight system and astronaut experience before commercial services commence next month.

Virgin Galactic’s first commercial flight, “Galactic 01,” is currently scheduled for late June. As of the end of 2022, the company had approximately 800 reservations for its commercial space tourism product.

SPCE Price Action: Virgin Galactic has a 52-week high of $8.55 and a 52-week low of $2.98.

The stock was up 4.75% at $4.41 at the time of publication, according to Benzinga Pro.
