What’s Going On With Uber Technologies Stock Today?

What To Know: Uber and Oracle announced a new offering called Collect and Receive, which connects retailers and consumers to enhance last mile delivery. 

The new offering is supported by Oracle's retail data store and cloud platform technologies. Retailers can link to Uber Direct through pre-integrated APIs, which enables them to rebalance inventory and gives customers more choices.

"At Uber, it's crystal clear that on-demand delivery is a core expectation for consumers – and today's retailers are taking note," said Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber.

"Together with Oracle, we can make it easier than ever for retailers to leverage on-demand delivery—and even returns—to delight consumers, streamline logistics, and ultimately boost loyalty and sales."

Tuesday's announcement builds on Uber's previously announced seven-year strategic cloud partnership with Oracle.

UBER Price Action: Uber shares were up 0.57% at $46.77 at the time of publication, per Benzinga Pro. The stock is now up nearly 90% year-to-date.
