What To Know: Last Monday, Origin Materials announced the appointment of Matt Plavan as CEO, effective Oct. 30. Plavan will replace interim CEO Pam Haley, who has served in this position since Sept. 1.

According to data from Benzinga Pro, Origin stock experienced above-average trading volume of 5.71 million shares on Monday compared to its average volume of 2.67 million.

The stock also has increased short interest with 7.55% of shares currently sold short.
