What To Know: First Solar is set to report third-quarter earnings after the market close on Tuesday. The company is expected to report earnings of $2.06 per share and revenue of $894.12 million.

First Solar stock has been trading down since last Friday when the solar sector was impacted by weak fourth-quarter guidance issued by Enphase Energy, Inc. on Thursday. Enphase anticipates revenue in a range between $300 million and $350 million, versus the $601.24 million estimate
