Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) shares are trading slightly lower Tuesday. The move represents a pullback from recent strength.
What To Know: Last Thursday, Amazon stock rose higher on news of a collaboration between the company and Shopify Inc. to streamline the shopping process for Prime members. A new “Buy with Prime” app was announced which would allow Prime users to check out quickly within Shopify. The stock rose approximately 3% on Thursday in response.
Amazon stock has trended lower since gaining from the news, trading down almost 1% on Tuesday. However, the stock is up 63.07% year-to-date.
