General Electric (NYSE:GE) reported quarterly earnings of $0.78 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $0.38 by 105.26 percent. This is a 95 percent increase over earnings of $0.40 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $18.65 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $17.60 billion by 5.94 percent. This is a 2.01 percent increase over sales of $18.28 billion the same period last year.
