You may have not noticed, but a fair share of Hollywood actors have been on strike since Mid-summer. As our world continues to evolve technologically, many large filmmakers/media conglomerates are starting to get greedy. The rise of artificial intelligence threatens the art of acting, as these companies want to use AI to completely replace the actors after using their likenesses and voices. Many of these actors are already grossly underpaid, and it seems to keep getting worse as the push to reduce their relevance continues. Disney (NYSE:DIS), Paramount Global (NASDAQ:PARA), and Warner Bros. Discovery (NASDAQ:WBD) could greatly be affected if a deal is not reached soon. Hopefully, we get this smear off the lenses so the cameras can keep rolling.
