EV giant Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) is recalling thirty-five 2023 semi-trucks, citing trouble with the parking brake.

What Happened: The parking brake might not engage as expected when the driver releases the brakes, the company said in a filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. This may allow the vehicle to roll away and increase the risk of a crash.

Tesla said it will replace the parking brake valve module in affected vehicles without any cost to the customer.

Last week, Tesla issued a recall for 2,649 imported Model S vehicles in China, due to a defective front trunk latch.
