  • On the third day of protests, some of the workers at Pomigliano d’Arco plant nearby Naples halted work for two hours, reported Bloomberg.
  • “The plant is dirty and the toilets stink,” said head of the Fiom union’s automotive arm, Simone Marinelli.
  • “Work overalls are missing — some workers have to wait months to have the old and worn out ones replaced.”

  • The concern over the unclean toilets, a lack of work gear and insufficient heating is attributed to cutbacks with the motive to save costs.
  • Reacting to the accusations, Stellantis said it always acts within the framework of labor contracts and with respect for its employees.
