  • Genelux Corporation (NASDAQ:GNLX) gained 19.2% to $28.58. The company recently recently posted second-quarter results.
  • Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (NASDAQ:AAOI) jumped 18% to $15.11. Applied Optoelectronics Form 4 Filing showed President and CEO Lin Chih-Hsiang (Thompson) bought 20,000 shares at an average price of $12.38/share.
  • AlloVir, Inc. (NASDAQ:ALVR) gained 17.7% to $3.3450.
  • Earthstone Energy, Inc. (NYSE:ESTE) jumped 15% to $18.66. Permian Resources penned a definitive acquisition deal to acquire Earthstone Energy for around $4.5 billion, including ESTE’s net debt.
  • Palo Alto Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:PANW) surged 14.8% to $240.80 after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings and issued strong billings outlook for the year.
  • Archer Aviation Inc. (NYSE:ACHR) climbed 13.6% to $7.00.
  • XPeng Inc. (NYSE:XPEV) gained 12.3% to $16.83 after B of A Securities upgraded the stock from Neutral to Buy and raised its price target from $16.3 to $22.
  • Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ:EOSE) surged 10% to $3.30.
  • BioNTech SE (NASDAQ:BNTX) gained 8% to $119.15 amid the EG.5 and FL.1.5.1 COVID variants.
  • Moderna, Inc. (NASDAQ:MRNA) rose 7.7% to $109.53. Moderna announced that preliminary clinical trial data confirm its updated COVID-19 vaccine for the fall 2023 vaccination season showed a significant boost in neutralizing antibodies against EG.5 and FL.1.5.1 variants.
