Meta Platforms Earnings Imminent, Options Market Indicates 9.5% Move By Week’s End

On CNBC’s “Options Action,”  Mike Khouw of Optimize Advisors said there were 1.5x more calls than puts on Meta during Tuesday’s session. Options markets are implying a move of around 9.5% by the end of the week.

There were buyers of 6,171 of the July 28 weekly 320-calls at an average price of around $5.30 per contract, Khouw mentioned.

Traders expect Meta’s stock to move higher through the end of the week.

Wall Street expects Meta Platforms to post quarterly earnings at $2.91 per share on revenue of $31.12 billion.

Price Action: Meta shares gained 1% to close at $294.47 on Tuesday, and added 1.7% in today’s pre-market trading session.
