Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) shares are moving on Wednesday. Disney announced the promotion of Alexia Quadrani to the position of Executive Vice President, Investor Relations on Tuesday.

Walt Disney Company faces current headwinds including a legal dispute with Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) in an Indian court contesting the Google Play Store billing policies.
Disney also faces an ongoing legal dispute with Florida Governor DeSantis and the state of Florida. On Friday, Disney asked a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit filed by DeSantis focused on ending the company’s self-governing control over its theme park.
Disney and the entire entertainment industry are reeling from the SAG-AFTRA combined strike of both the actors and writers which has not occurred in more than 60 years. The strike threatens to disrupt the production and distribution capabilities of the Walt Disney Company.
DIS shares have fallen more than 13% over the last three months as the company’s saga continues.
