Multiple Benzinga team members verified this issue, and OpenAI updated the ChatGPT status to reflect the outage.
“ChatGPT web & mobile UIs unavailable. We are currently investigating this issue,” said the OpenAI status page.
Multiple outages and issues have plagued OpenAI’s GPT-4 in August. The company is co-founded by Sam Altman and Elon Musk, among others. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is one of its biggest investors – the company has invested $11 billion in OpenAI so far.
