Burlington Stores (NYSE:BURL) reported quarterly earnings of $2.96 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.73 by 8.42 percent. This is a 17 percent increase over earnings of $2.53 per share from the same period last year.
Dow Jumps Over 300 Points; S&P 500 Rises 1.5%
U.S. stocks traded higher toward the end of trading, with the Dow Jones gaining more than 300 points on Friday.
The Dow traded up 1.03% to 33,343.73 while the NASDAQ rose 1.92% to 11,682.86. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 1.51% to 4,041.51.
