- Accenture PLC (NYSE:ACN) disclosed the acquisition of Bourne Digital in Australia for an undisclosed amount.
- Founded in 2015, Bourne Digital is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, and has offices in Sydney and Brisbane. Its 66 employees will join the Accenture SAP Business Group in Australia.
- Bourne specializes in SAP Business Technology Platform, creates experience-driven applications, streamlines workflows, and drives automation.
- The buyout will boost Accenture’s SAP digital design capabilities in Australia, especially across financial services, resources, consumer goods, health and travel industries.
- “With the acquisition of Bourne Digital, we will strengthen our SAP digital design and user experience capabilities to help our clients better utilize their SAP solutions,” said Matt Coates, Technology lead for Accenture in Australia and New Zealand.
- Few days back, ACN stated its intention to acquire Green Domus Desenvolvimento Sustentável LTDA, a Brazil-based sustainability consultancy, for an undisclosed amount.
- Accenture’s total cash balance as of Feb. 28, 2023, was $6.2 billion.
