Last week, Canoo announced the U.S. Postal Service will purchase and take delivery of six right-hand drive versions of Canoo's LDV 190 in the first quarter of 2024 as part of its $40 billion investment strategy to upgrade the organization's processing, transportation and delivery networks.
U.S. stocks traded higher toward the end of trading, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 250 points on Thursday.
The Dow traded up 0.66% to 38,403.91 while the NASDAQ rose 1.01% to 15,316.80. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.87% to 4,887.70.
On Tuesday, Pfizer Inc (NYSE: PFE) reported mixed results for its fourth quarter. Last year, Pfizer has responded to concerns related to its COVID-19 products being the rearview mirror with a cost-cutting program, internal restructuring and by getting deeper into oncology with its purchase of cancer drugmaker Seagen.
Shares of C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHRW) fell sharply during Thursday’s session after the company reported worse-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results.
U.S. stocks traded higher midway through trading, with the S&P 500 gaining around 0.5% on Thursday.
The Dow traded up 0.23% to 38,238.99 while the NASDAQ rose 0.54% to 15,245.46. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.48% to 4,868.71.
Kiora Pharmaceuticals also entered into a securities purchase agreement with certain institutional investors, pursuant to which Kiora agreed to issue and sell 15,800,000 shares and warrants for expected aggregate gross proceeds at closing of approximately $15 million and potential future warrant exercise gross proceeds of approximately $30 million.
U.S. stocks traded higher this morning, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining more than 100 points on Thursday.
Following the market opening Thursday, the Dow traded up 0.14% to 38,204.88 while the NASDAQ rose 0.77% to 15,281.03. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.49% to 4,869.54.
