Shares of Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) fell sharply during Friday’s session. Intel reported upbeat results for its fourth quarter, but issued a weak forecast for the first quarter.
U.S. stocks traded higher midway through trading, with the Dow Jones index gaining over 100 points on Friday.
The Dow traded up 0.32% to 38,170.95 while the NASDAQ rose 0.10% to 15,525.24. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 0.19% to 4,903.28.

Following the market opening Friday, the Dow traded up 0.12% to 38,096.06 while the NASDAQ fell 0.19% to 15,481.44. The S&P 500 also fell, dropping, 0.05% to 4,891.94.
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved higher, with the cryptocurrency prices trading above the key $41,000 level on Friday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded gains, trading above the key $2,200 mark this morning.
