U.S. stocks closed higher on Friday, amid surge in tech stocks. For the week, the Dow gained about 0.7%, while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq gained 1.3% and 2.4%, respectively.
The CNN Money Fear and Greed index showed some easing in the overall fear level, but the index remained in the "Fear" zone on Friday.

The Dow traded up 0.94% to 34,211.92 while the NASDAQ rose 1.86% to 13,773.36. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining, 1.35% to 4,406.16.
