Bitcoin Tops $38,000 Following GDP Data; Sei Emerges As Top Gainer

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved higher, with the cryptocurrency prices trading above the key $38,000 level on Wednesday. Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded gains, trading above the key $2,000 mark this morning.

Sei (CRYPTO: SEI) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while FTX Token (CRYPTO: FTT) turned out to be the biggest loser.

The US economy grew an annualized 5.2% in the third quarter, compared to 4.9% in the preliminary estimate, and higher than market estimates of 5%.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.43 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 2%. BTC was trading higher by 2.3% at $38,079 while ETH rose by around 1.5% to $2,055 on Wednesday.
