Rocket Lab USA Inc (NASDAQ:RKLB) shares are trading higher Thursday. The space company announced its 40th successful launch mission.

What Happened: Rocket Lab said it successfully launched an Electron mission for Capella Space from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 in New Zealand and hit several milestones in the process.

The mission successfully reused a previously flown 3D printed Rutherford engine and included an ocean splashdown of the first stage rocket. The mission also marked the company’s 40th Electron launch since it began launches in 2017.

“Electron has played a crucial role in helping constellation operators like Capella deploy their spacecraft on time and on target, and we look forward to continuing building out Capella’s constellation with more dedicated launches this year,” said Peter Beck, founder and CEO of Rocket Lab.
