The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. (NYSE:THG) announced today its board of directors has approved an increase in the company’s quarterly dividend to $0.81 per share on the issued and outstanding common stock of the company, payable December 30, 2022, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 15, 2022.

“We are pleased to announce an 8% increase in our quarterly dividend,” said John C. Roche, president and chief executive officer at The Hanover. “In this particularly dynamic industry and economic environment, our ability to continue delivering a robust increase in our quarterly dividend underscores the effectiveness of our differentiated strategy and reaffirms our board’s confidence in the long-term earnings potential of our business.
