PepsiCo (NASDAQ:PEP) reported quarterly earnings of $1.86 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.74 by 6.9 percent. This is a 8.14 percent increase over earnings of $1.72 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $20.23 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $19.51 billion by 3.66 percent. This is a 5.25 percent increase over sales of $19.22 billion the same period last year.
Crude Oil Falls Over 2%; Enerflex Shares Plunge
U.S. stocks traded mostly lower toward the end of trading, with the Dow Jones falling more than 150 points on Monday.
The Dow traded down 0.49% to 33,344.27 while the NASDAQ rose 0.21% to 13,246.63. The S&P 500 also fell, dropping, 0.40% to 4,271.07.
